Chelsea has three neighborhoods stacked on top of each other: 1900s tenements and townhouses in the historic district, converted industrial lofts near the galleries, and the glass condos that went up along the High Line. Each one gets dirty differently, and we've cleaned all three this month.
What we clean in Chelsea
Historic-district townhouses and walk-ups
The 20s between Eighth and Tenth: brick row houses, small floor-throughs, steep stairs, radiators and original floors.
High Line and West Chelsea condos
Floor-to-ceiling glass, open kitchens, pale stone counters. Beautiful, and they show every streak and crumb.
Converted lofts
Near the galleries on the west side: high ceilings, big windows, exposed pipes that collect dust nobody can reach without a ladder.
What the dirt is like here
- West Chelsea is still a construction zone. Fine grey dust drifts in from active sites and settles on sills within days.
- Hudson wind pushes grit against west-facing windows and into the tracks. We clean tracks every visit on that side.
- Glass condos need streak-free work in raking afternoon light; we do glass and stone last, with the sun in mind.
- The 14th Street corridor and 23rd Street traffic leave the same oily film on sills as any avenue.
Getting in: doormen, keys and COIs
Walk-ups: key, lockbox or a neighbor. Condos and rentals: a doorman or virtual doorman and, in many newer buildings, a COI requirement even for rentals; we send it ahead. Loft buildings often have a freight elevator with its own hours.

Questions Chelsea clients ask
What's the difference between a standard and a deep clean?
A deep clean is a standard clean plus the places a weekly clean skips: baseboards, door frames, light switches, grout, behind and under furniture that moves, and inside the microwave. We recommend a deep clean for a first visit or if it's been more than a couple of months, then standard cleans to maintain it.
Do you offer discounts for recurring cleans?
Yes: 30% off weekly, 25% off bi-weekly, 15% off monthly, on every visit from your second clean. Start a weekly or bi-weekly plan and the deep clean on your first visit (normally +$75) is free, so you begin from a proper reset. Recurring clients also get the same cleaner each time and priority on their preferred day.
Do you bring your own supplies and equipment?
Always. Products, cloths, vacuum and mop are all included. We use eco-friendly, non-toxic products by default; if you prefer a specific product on a specific surface, leave it out with a note and we'll use yours.
How long does a clean take?
A standard clean of a 1-bedroom is usually 2–3 hours; a 2-bedroom 3–4 hours. Deep cleans and move-outs take longer, and we'll send two cleaners for larger homes so the visit stays within a half day.
